Assistant coach Azhar Mahmood explained the decision to continue playing all-rounder Shadab Khan in the T20 World Cup despite his poor performance.

When asked why Shadab Khan kept playing in the World Cup matches despite his lackluster performance, Azhar Mahmood responded that Shadab is a complete package.

He elaborated that it was difficult to drop Shadab after the batters' failures.

Additionally, senior manager and selector Wahab Riaz mentioned that Usama Mir was informed that there was no place for him in the team, and Shadab was selected based on his experience.

Wahab Riaz also expressed disappointment over Usama Mir directly contacting Chairman Mohsin Naqvi.
