Pakistan cricket team's assistant coach Azhar Mahmood has announced legal action against those who have made baseless allegations against him on social media and other media platforms. In his statement, Azhar Mahmood emphasized that all the accusations against him and his family are false, unfounded, and fabricated. He condemned the act of misleading the public without evidence and stated that it is a legal offense to make such claims without proof.

Azhar Mahmood expressed his disappointment over the trend of gaining attention on social media by making false allegations, asserting that it is unacceptable and those responsible will face strict legal action. He assured that both he and his family will take serious measures against those who have wrongfully accused them.

It is worth noting that previously, Pakistan cricket team captain Babar Azam also announced that he would file defamation cases against YouTubers and former players who have made allegations against him. According to sources close to Babar, he is disheartened by the accusations from former players and has already started consultations with his legal team regarding the matter. The PCB's legal department is also reportedly gathering data on the statements made by these YouTubers and former players.
