Despite the Eid al-Adha holidays, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi visited Gaddafi Stadium to review the ongoing upgrade work.

The upgrades at Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium are being undertaken in preparation for the upcoming Champions Trophy tournament. Chairman Mohsin Naqvi inspected the demolition of the offices and set a deadline of June 30 for completing this task. He also instructed an increase in machinery and workforce after the Eid holidays to accelerate the pace of the work.
Chairman Mohsin Naqvi emphasized the need to allocate additional resources to ensure the project's timely completion. He also mentioned that the upgrades to Gaddafi Stadium, along with the National Bank Stadium in Karachi and Rawalpindi Stadium, would be completed before the Champions Trophy.
During the visit, FWO officials briefed Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, and the General Manager of Infrastructure was also present.
